Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

This week we celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday and boy did we have some fun.  Here are a two of the centers that we worked on this week that came from my new Wacky Word Work pack (mini unit).  We have been focusing on digraphs so this little game was a great way to assess their progress.

We also have been really focusing on

spelling cvc words so

this worked great in our word work center.

To see the other center games that we used

check out my post from last year HERE.

Thanks to Jennifer

from First Grade Blue Skies we made this little CUTIE hat.  Be sure to click on the link to get a copy.

We also used the same hair template to make these cute Thing 1 and Thing 2’s.

I thought they turned out so CUTE!

And finally, our librarian set up this PRECIOUS photo booth for all of kinders.

Precious, right?

I hope you had as much fun during Read Across America week as we did.  🙂
